About Zambia

Located in Southern Africa, Zambia is surrounded by eight countries, (Angola, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi and Botswana), with diverse flora and fauna and beautiful national parks and safari areas. In the southern part of the country and on the border with Zimbabwe, is the mighty Victoria Falls, locally known as Mosi-oa-Tunya, meaning the Smoke that Thunders; plummeting a cloudy 108 metres into the Batoka Gorge, while covering the Zambezi River. Experience

A Cultural Experience

The Country has some of nature's best wildlife and game reserves, a marvel to see and enjoy, with significant contribution to the GDP from the tourism industry. The North Luangwa, South Luangwa and Kafue National Parks pride the most abundant animal populations in Africa. With 73 ethnic groups, there are innumerable traditional ceremonies that take place every year. It is among few countries in Africa that enjoys sustained peace, stability and democracy.

Zambia's economy is growing at a fast rate than the economies of most of the mineral-producing and non-mineral producing peers. Economic growth has been led by a strong performance in mining, manufacturing, services and agriculture.
